Teaching
There are three Engineering Tutors at St John's; Prof S. Elston, Dr M. Cannon and myself. This enables us to teach the full range of first and second year paper within College. My main Tutorial wok is in Mathrmatics and Thermo-fluid dynamics. All engineering students have 2 tutorials a week during their first two years, after that specialised classes are organised through the Engineering Department.
Administration
I am Senior Tutor, responsible to the Governing Body for academic matters in College.
I am Wine Steward, responsible for buying wine for the College Senior Common Room, deciding when wine is ready to be used and for choosing wine for SCR meals and College Feasts.
